BanG Dream! 9th☆LIVE was the franchise's ninth official live.
It was held on the following two set of dates:
- August 21 & 22, 2021 (Titled The Beginning, with Poppin'Party and Roselia performing)
- September 4 & 5, 2021 (Titled Mythology, with RAISE A SUILEN and Morfonica performing)
It was held at Fuji-Q Highland Conifer Forest, the same location where BanG Dream! 8th☆LIVE was also held. The concerts were live-broadcasted in select movie theaters in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.[1]
"The Beginning" was opened by D4DJ's Tsumugi Risa, Tsunko, and Shindou Amane; while "Mythology" was opened by Kagami Karin, Takagi Miyu, and Hazuki Himari.[2]
Lottery tickets for the live were included in the first-print limited editions of the following singles: Photograph, Bloom Bloom, ZEAL of proud and mind of Prominence.
A four-disc Blu-ray complete box for the concert was released on June 22, 2022.

A Special Viewing of the Live was announced on September 5, 2021 with tickets available for purchasing on the same date.[5] "The Beginning" was open for special streaming from September 18 to October 3, 2021, while "Mythology" was streamed from September 25 until October 10, 2021.[6]
