BanG Dream! AI Singing Synthesizer, titled "Yumenokessho" (夢ゆめノの結けつ唱しょう, A Dream Duet), is a project of the BanG Dream! franchise together with the voice synthesis softwares CeVIO AI and Synthesizer V.

Song Voice Libraries[]

The project features song voice libraries for POPY and ROSE, and the upcoming PASTEL and HALO. POPY and ROSE's voicebanks were developed by Bushiroad, Inc. and released for CeVIO AI in 2022. The Synthesizer V voicebanks for POPY and ROSE were developed together with Dreamtonics Co. Ltd. and AHS Co. Ltd. and released in 2023. PASTEL and HALO are being developed for Synthesizer V with Dreamtonics Co. Ltd and AHS Co. Ltd as well. All illustrations of the characters were done by yonemuro (米室).

POPY[]

POPY (ポピー) is a character voicebank based on Toyama Kasumi. While the design is based on Kasumi, POPY's song voice is meant to capture the sounds of the band Poppin'Party, hence her name being derived from the band's name.

ROSE[]

ROSE (ローズ) is a character voicebank based on Minato Yukina. Similar to POPY, ROSE is meant to capture the sounds of the band Roselia, hence the namesake.

PASTEL[]

PASTEL (パステル) is an upcoming character voicebank based on Maruyama Aya. PASTEL is meant to capture the sound of the band Pastel*Palettes, hence the namesake.

HALO[]

HALO (ハロ) is an upcoming character voicebank based on Tsurumaki Kokoro. HALO, like all other voicebanks of Yumenokessho, is meant to capture the sound of the represented vocalist's band, in HALO's case, Hello, Happy World!. Her name is derived from the common abbreviation of the band's name "HaroHapi".

History[]

March 19, 2022: Announcement of a new project with CeVIO AI, featuring two song voice libraries for Toyama Kasumi and Minato Yukina.^[1]
June 9, 2022: Announcement of the "BanG Dream! Summer Grand Presentation 2022" that'd be livestreamed on June 23, 2022. Among the main topics include an update about the CeVIO AI × BanG Dream! Project Update.^[2]^[3]^[4]
June 23, 2022: Reveal of POPY and ROSE song voices, release of promotional teaser,^[5] and launch of the story-writing contest through monogatary.com.
- The winning story was made into a song by the VOCALOID producer and composer kemu.
- A drawing contest with the theme based on the created song was held. It is in collaboration with Sakuga King GRAND-PRIX (作画王グランプリコラボコンテス) which was held in Autumn 2022. A MADMV featuring all participants was produced thereafter.^[6]
September 30, 2022: The winners from the writing contest were revealed through the 136th episode of Bandori! TV LIVE.^[7] The winning pieces are:
- Grand Prize Winner: "Blooming Song" by Daikei (台形)
- Excellence Awardees:
  - "夢ノ結唱" (Yumenokessho) by aaaa (ああああ)
  - "青薔薇トンネルの幽霊" (The Phantom of the Blue Rose Tunnel) by Shiinamiso (椎名みそ)
  - "未完の一画" (Incomplete Masterpiece) by Ashi Dupont (アシ・ジュポン)
  - "少女と結唱の魔法" (The Girls and The Magic of Singing) by inori
October 3, 2022: piapro announced that POPY and ROSE have been added to their character list and that works featuring them are accepted therewith.^[8]
November 20, 2022: Preview of voicebanks (CiRCLING for POPY and Ringing Bloom for ROSE),^[9] announcement of release dates for both the download and the package versions, and reveal of included demo songs on the package version.^[10]^[11]
December 21, 2022: Release of the download version.^[12]
February 28, 2023: Release of the package version.^[12]
October 26, 2023: Announcement of POPY and ROSE receiving Synthesizer V AI voicebanks.^[13]
December 21, 2023: Release of POPY and ROSE's Synth V AI voicebanks.^[14]^[15]
April 25, 2024: Announcement of two new voicebanks for Synth V AI: PASTEL and HALO.
