What has it been? About a year since you started working here? You're always such a big help to CiRCLE. Thank you for that.

I've got to say, the live house is doing a lot better than when it started out. I guess we can thank the age of the girl bands for that.

Marina:

Although, that also meant things were a lot harder around here, especially with the lack of staff. And then the owner comes along and tells me that CiRCLE is gonna be left completely to me...

Marina:

I'm just a staff member too, you know!

Marina:

... Oops. I shouldn't be complaining. Sorry. On a related note, I have a favor to ask you...

Marina:

We're gonna be short on people this week and next week... Could you maybe, possibly... take on a few more shifts...?

Marina:

Wait, really?! Wow, thank you! What a relief!

Marina:

Much appreciated! Having you on during these shifts makes a huge difference!

It's from the Girls Band Party! Everyone looks like they're having a lot of fun.

Marina:

Poppin'Party did a lot of running around to help us get the five bands together for the event. I was amazed at just how active Kasumi-chan could be.

With that, and her ability to involve other people, the band was able to overcome a number of problems during this past year. You know, it feels like they've become very dependable.

Marina:

Afterglow's bond and ability to stick together is as strong as ever, but you wouldn't expect anything less from a band made up of five childhood friends.

I hear that Ran-chan has become serious about flower arranging, and even though her father wasn't happy about her being in a band at first, things have changed, and they get along now.

Marina:

You know that one guy who wears traditional Japanese outfits who's always at Afterglow concerts? Fufu, that's her dad!

Marina:

Pastel＊Palettes keeps on getting more and more popular as an idol band, and you can see them steadily improving.

Marina:

The number of solo jobs the girls receive has increased dramatically, but they said that they still treasure their moments as a band the most.

Marina:

I can imagine that reflects just how important the band has become to each of them.

Marina:

Nothing has changed about Hello, Happy World!'s goal of coming together to make the world smile!

Marina:

At first, it just seemed like all of the other members were getting roped into doing things by how energetic Kokoro-chan is, but...

Marina:

Nowadays, they all share that proactive spirit in wanting to make the world a happier place. Fufu, I think Misaki-chan is especially easy to read when it comes to that sentiment.

Marina:

Roselia remains at the top among the five bands in terms of skill. They started with this stubborn idea that being part of a band is not about having fun, but...

I guess they must have gone through a lot. You can see how much they treasure the relationship they have with each other outside of music now. They're still pretty strict though.

Marina:

I feel like Yukina-chan and Sayo-chan have adopted a much different approach to music. That's probably one of the biggest changes. And I don't think it's just my imagination.

Marina:

Marina:

That's there so that everyone can write whatever they want. A lot more people have been using CiRCLE, so I thought it'd be nice to get everyone's impressions and stuff.

Rimi:

Oh, okay! Hey, Kasumi-chan, should we write something?

Kasumi:

I'd love to! Uhhh... "Poppin'Party was here!"

Arisa:

C'mon, don't take up so much space! How am I supposed to write anything?!

Marina:

Fufu, no need to fight, girls!

Marina:

We were thinking of holding the second Girls Band Party. We were hoping you girls would perform.

Kasumi:

Yes! We'll do it!!

Arisa:

You just don't learn! You need to ask for details! Get it through your head!

Kasumi:

But it sounds so fun~! And we were talking about how we wanted to do another one anyway.

Arisa:

It doesn't matter! ... Jeez, it's like I'm still talking to first-year Kasumi.

Sayo:

Marina:

Fufu, thank you. Remember how we talked about CiRCLE's goal to support girl bands when we had the first Girls Band Party?

Marina:

That we wanted this to be a place where those bands would be lifted up! And that we wanted to become better known so that everyone would come to use our space!

Marina:

... That was the whole point of the first Girls Band Party. Remember that?

Lisa:

And it was a successful event. We all had so much fun.

Yukina:

What exactly would be the objective of the second event?

Marina:

Okay, so for the second event, we're hoping we can do something to give students who are thinking of creating their own group the push they need... You know, a bit of encouragement.

Kasumi:

A push, huh...?

Marina:

Groups made up of only girls are really trending, aren't they? That's why you hear people talking about the age of the girl bands, right?

Marina:

CiRCLE has benefitted greatly from that, and there are a lot more people around who are interested in bands than there used to be.

Marina:

That's why, going forward, we want CiRCLE to be a place of support for girls who want to start their own band, not just a place for bands that already exist... That's the idea.

Arisa:

And so you would like us to help... by having a concert?

Marina:

Yep! You all did well during the first one, and you've done a lot of growing over the year. I think you girls could help provide the inspiration other students need.

Marina:

I won't act like it's easy to be a role model and aspire people. Even so-

Kasumi:

We'll do it!

Kasumi:

Think about it! How awesome would it be for us to actually motivate someone to start their own band?!

Kasumi:

The first Girls Band Party was so fun! The way we took what we were feeling during the performance and turned that into the lyrics... It was like we all felt the same thing, and I loved that.

Kasumi:

To think we could have more people who might feel the same thing. It's like... our fun would be multiplied! That's the sense I get...

Kasumi:

Ran:

That's why you wanna do it?

Kasumi:

I have such a great time being in a band. So I want everyone else to know how that feels too.

Tae:

First, I wanna say great job with the mini-concert!

It was so much fun! The crowd raised the roof! It had been so long since we all played on the same stage together...

I did a lot of thinking after the mini-concert. Like about these kids who quit their band and why they didn't want to play anymore.

That doesn't change the message I can send to people. All I can show them is that being in a band is fun...

A new song is fine, but I don't believe there's much of a point in writing one just because we want to do 'something amazing'.

And that's where "don't push, pull" comes in. If we filled a song with that feeling, I think it'd be pretty good.

Kasumi:

We want people to know that being in a band is fun.

Ran:

That when you have friends to help you through your struggles, then no matter what happens, you can look back, laugh, and think about how much of a good time you had.

Aya:

That the tough and painful memories are part of what makes being in a band enjoyable.

Kasumi:

... We can turn those ideas into lyrics!

There's a lot of meaning that comes with saying being in a band is fun.

I want to include those painful moments as well. Those moments of struggle. I don't want this to be only about our feelings. I want it to be about what many different people feel.

So we'll take what fun means to lots of people, turn that into lyrics, bring it all together, get our message across as a group, and... Hmmm...
