Itou Ayasa (伊藤 彩沙) was born on August 17, 1996 in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. She voices Ichigaya Arisa and is also Poppin'Party's keyboardist and pianist. She is affiliated with HiBiKi.

Background[]

Ayasa used to live in Kyoto, before moving to Tokyo after graduating from high school in 2015. Similarly to Arisa, Ayasa played the piano ever since she was 3, but dropped it when she was in first grade. In middle school, she was made to try a voice acting part in the NHK Studio Park, and she aimed to become a voice actress after being praised for doing a good job at it. In 2010, she applied for the Milky Holmes Seiyuu Audition Tour, but was knocked out of the at the semi-finals in the Osaka auditions.[1]

Ayasa debuted as a voice actress after winning the role of Alice Myoujingawa in Futari wa Milky Holmes during the Milky Holmes Sisters Members Scout Audition on April 27, 2013; she was selected out from more than 2000 applicants.[2] Together with Aimi, they formed the unit Milky Holmes Feathers.

Alongside Aimi and Rimi, she was one of three original members of Poppin'Party, and the one with the least experience with their instrument as well.

She used to be in the voice actress duo "AyaYuka" together with Ozaki Yuka, and the two were in charge of the programmes on the Ibaraki Prefecture's official video site IbaKira TV, before they disbanded at the end of 2017.

Before dropping her high school activities in 2013 in order to study acting seriously, Ayasa was the president of the Theater Club and part of the choir at her school.

She released her first photobook, AYASA SHOCK!!, on November 1, 2019.[3]

On April 10, 2020, Ayasa started a Youtube channel titled Three Seiyuu Sisters Team Y with fellow talent agency members Sasaki Mikoi and Aimi.

Personality & Hobbies[]

Ayasa's hobbies include watching cooking shows, theater plays, following idols, collecting cosmetics and playing games. Among her skills are speaking in the Kyoto Dialect and hair arrangement. Ayasa is also an avid lover of the Takarazuka Revue, and fell in love with it after her grandmother took her to see one of their plays, "The Man from Algiers / Dance Romanesque", when she was in ninth grade. She wanted to enter Takarazuka, but was unfortunately too short to fit a role.

Her favorite foods are dairy products (especially milk and whipped cream), blueberries, pancakes, chocolate, foie gras, tofu hot pot (sundubu), taco rice and natto tamago kake gohan.

Ayasa also admires Suzuko Mimori and loves Hello! Project and its subgroups, and even attended Buono!'s final live on May 22, 2017.

  • Ayasa has a younger sister who also likes anime.
  • Ayasa likes making puns on her name such as "ohaayasa" (おはあやさ, "good morning") and "konnayasa" (こんあやさ "good day" ), which she uses every day on her Twitter.
