Itou Miku (伊藤 美来) was born on October 12, 1996 in Tokyo, Japan. She is the voice actress of Tsurumaki Kokoro. She is affiliated with Style Cube, while her singing activities are signed under Nippon Columbia.

Background[]

Miku wanted to become a voice actress after watching Cardcaptor Sakura. Prior to this, she wanted to become an ice cream saleswoman.

In 2012, Miku passed Style Cube's voice actor audition, and became a trainee. She debuted with the role of Yuriko Nanao in the mobage The iDOLM@STER: Million Live!, whose role she auditioned for because of their similar personalities.[1]

Miku joined StylipS on April 27, 2013 at the same time with Toyota Moe, who was also a trainee at the time; the two replaced both Ogura Yui and Ishihara Kaori who had just graduated from the group. In May 2015, Miku and Moe joined Pyxis, StylipS' new subunit. Miku made her debut as a solo singer on her 20th birthday on October 12, 2016, with the single "Awa to Verbena".

Personality & Hobbies[]

Miku's hobbies include watching anime, dancing, acting, and playing Hyakunin Isshu. Similarly to Yuriko, she loves reading books and also studied Japanese linguistics as her main subject while she was still studying at a university. One of her favorite foods is sushi with shellfish as the topping, while she dislikes green peas.

She also practices kendo, but is at the lowest level. She is a fan of sentai hero shows, especially Kamen Rider, where her favorite Rider is Den-O.

Health Issues[]

On February 1, 2022, Miku's agency announced that she has tested positive for COVID-19.[2] On February 14, 2022, her agency announced that both she and Moe had recovered and are continuing their activities.[3]
