Ozawa Ari (小澤 亜李) was born on August 10, 1992 in Tokyo, Japan. She is the voice actress of Hikawa Hina. She is currently affiliated with I'm Enterprise.

Background[]

Ari decided to become a voice actress after she became a fan of Negima! when she was in 7th grade.[1] She then saved up money by working as a nursery teacher's assistant for a year before entering the Japan Narration Acting Institute in her second year of high school, at the age of 17. She spent 6 years there training before she was accepted into her agency, I'm Enterprise. She then had her debut in anime with the role of Sakura Chiyo from Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, and also sang the ending theme for the show.

On March 18, 2017, Ari received the Best Rookie Actress award an the 11th Seiyuu Awards.

Personality & Hobbies[]

Ari describes herself as a person who is negative, impatient, lacks self-confidence and is prone to intense self-denial.[2] As such, she has mentioned that she looks up to Hina.

Her hobbies include drawing, watching anime and exercising. Ari also owns a dog named Sora.[3]

On August 10, 2020, Ari announced her marriage with the Japanese musician and composer Hige Driver.[4] On January 1, 2023, she announced that she had given birth to her first child in 2022.[5]
