RAiSe! The story of my music is one of the mangas for the BanG Dream! franchise. Other alternative title for the series is "BanG Dream! episode of RAISE A SUILEN".
It was announced during RAISE A SUILEN's 3rd official live, Brave New World.[1]
It tells the story of the formation of RAISE A SUILEN that is not seen in BanG Dream! 2nd Season.
It was written by Nakamura Kou and illustrated by Shiihara Ryu (@sea_dragon_s). It started serialization in Monthly Bushiroad from January 8, 2019 to present.
Plot
Asahi Rokka is a third-year middle school girl living in Gifu Prefecture. She doesn't work nor study, all she does is play the guitar. She formed a band in middle school but her band activities has stopped due to the members having to focus on high school entrance exams. Having lost her dreams and being unable to play the guitar anymore, she went to Tokyo by herself to see the final live of the girl bands' live house SPACE. Rokka decided to stay at her relatives. Wondering if she still had to go to the live, her cousin Nanami, urges her to. By the time she arrived, the show has already started and the band Poppin'Party is currently playing. While listening to them play Mae e Susume!, she finds a new dream. "I will start a band.. right here in Tokyo!"
