- As this event is a collaboration between BanG Dream! Girls Band Party and Zombie Land Saga Revenge, there are numerous references to Zombie Land Saga in the event story and card stories. They include:
- Pastel*Palettes travels to the Saga Prefecture - where Zombie Land Saga is set in - in order to participate in an outdoor festival called Gabai Gabai Matsuri (がばいがばい祭り, Gabai Gabai Festival).
- Tatsumi Koutarou himself appears in the story. He also directly mentions Franchouchou.
- The opening scene is a reference to the first episode of Zombie Land Saga, where Sakura is the first one to "awaken", only to spot all the other girls still in their zombified states.
- Identically to the Franchouchou girls, Pastel*Palettes use makeup to hide, and also do their best to not let anyone know they are zombies. They are faced with multiple challenges along the way.
