Youmiya Hina (
Background[]
When Hina was in 9th grade, she became interested in voice actresses after watching Fairy Tail and being impressed by the main male protagonist Natsu Dragneel's dialogue. She then started watching more anime so she could talk about it with her friend and became an even bigger anime fan in the process. Her parents supported her decision to become a seiyuu after asking about it when she was in high school, and then Hina started practicing on her own.[1]
In 2019, Hina auditioned for the anime Sakugan, and she managed to become one of the seven finalists. Although she didn't win a role in the anime, she managed to become affiliated with her current agency. She then debuted as a voice actress with the role of Yagi Nodoka in Selection Project.
Hina was one of the five winners of the Best New Actor Award at the 18th Seiyuu Awards.
Hina is also one of the hosts of the A&G NEXT STEP HOOOOPE! radio show.[2]

Personality & Hobbies[]
Hina's hobbies include drawing, reading, watching movies, listening to music, playing the acoustic guitar, writing lyrics and composing songs. She especially likes drawing with crayons. She used to study dancing from 5th grade till 9th grade. Her special skills include dancing and speaking in the Kansai dialect. She also enjoys watching romance movies and grotesque movies, but dislikes horror movies.
Hina is a very soft-spoken person, and she has mentioned multiple times that she can relate to Tomori. Just like Tomori, Hina also loves collecting all sorts of things, and would even pick up and collect rocks when she was in elementary school.[3]
Hina likes sweet things, and she also loves sweet potatoes and chocolate. According to herself, she "eats chocolate all year around" and her favorite chocolates are raw chocolate and 72% cocoa dark chocolate, which she enjoys eating 5-6 times a week when she's worried about calories. She also loves eating ice cream (especially soft serve) during autumn.[4]
