Yuutenji Nyamu (祐天寺 にゃむ) is a character in the BanG Dream! franchise. She goes by the stage name Amoris (アモーリス) and is the drummer of Ave Mujica.
Appearance[]
Nyamu is a girl of above-average height who has a short, messy, muted-purple bob haircut and large, pink, downturned eyes. Her mouth also has a much more curved shape than the typical mouth shape seen on other characters, similar to that of Lisa's.
As Nyamu[]
Her casual attire consists of a fully monochromatic color palette, including a gray frilled, short-sleeved blouse and a black pencil skirt, choker, and heels. The only non-monochromatic part of her outfit is a golden bracelet on her left wrist. When going outside, she usually wears black sunglasses with round frames and a white hat as a disguise.

Mask Design
As Amoris, she, like all Ave Mujica members, wears a mask to conceal her identity, wearing a lace mask that covers most of the upper part of her face. The flowers depicted on her mask are moth orchids. She wears a black, striped, high-collared vest, along with a sheer black shirt showing a red, lowcut, one-piece jumpsuit . It is adorned with a black corset which also has two flaps that reach her lower leg. She also wears 3 white pearl necklaces and a pink gem on the center of the collar. The bottom part of her jumpsuit has straps that buckle to black, translucent knee-high socks. For footwear, she wears red pump heels.
Background[]
Nyamu is an up-and-coming beauty influencer who goes under the name Nyamuchi (にゃむち). She mainly posts videos about makeup on her channel but also likes challenging herself and making other kinds of videos as well.[3]
Personality[]
Although Nyamu is outwardly a very friendly and good-natured person, in reality she cares a lot about views and clout and as a result can come off as a bit shallow. She has a mischievous streak and enjoys teasing her bandmates as well as giving people nicknames. She also enjoys challenging herself, such as shown how she even brought a drum kit and started drumming as a way to gain more views.
At the same time Nyamu is quite perceptive despite the front she puts on, shown in how she realized that Sakiko was hiding something just by glancing at the latter during their first meeting.
Etymology[]
Yuutenji (祐天寺): Yuu (祐) means "divine help" or "divine protection", ten (天) means "heaven" and ji (寺) means "temple".
Nyamu (Japanese: にゃむ, Chinese: 若麥): Her Japanese name can be interpreted as a shortened version of her nickname Nyamuchi (にゃむち). Which is composed of Nya (にゃ) meaning "meow" and muchi (むち) which means "ignorance". In Chinese, Nya (若) means "young" and Mu (麥) is a general term that refers to wheat, barley, oats, etcetera.
Trivia[]
- Nyamu is ambidextrous.[4]
- She is the same height as Tae and Touko, and is also the tallest member of Ave Mujica.
- Nyamu is a fan of Roselia, and she's particularly a fan of Ako.[4]
- Another note is that her and Ako are very similar in terms of color palette, are both the drummers of their respective bands, and both use drums by the same brand (DW/Drum Workshop).
